Knit Baby Toboggan

This is a very interesting story. I began a new job working with individuals who have disabilities that have certain limitations but they are high functioning individuals. One individual that I work with can knit on a loom. I have always looked at the looms lining department shelves but never tried because I thought it would not be as easy as it looks. That's me though. I always assume there is some glitch or "catch" that is going to trip me up and I'll never use the product, it will sit around my home and collect dust, or as I assume, will be difficult. I am so happy that this particular individual had his laying out on the coffee table when I came to his home. We sat down together and I watched him knit on it for a few minutes, grasping the steps, and then trying it myself. Guess what? I learned to knit a baby toboggan on a loom! I am going to give this one to my great-niece when she arrives later this month.
